EDLINE KIOSKS INSTALLED AT LIBRARIES
05-01-2009
Kiosks have been placed at all Washoe County libraries that will make it easier for parents to access Edline, which is a resource for middle school and high school students, parents and teachers in Washoe County School District.
Edline allows online access to grades, homework, test scores, attendance and email communication with teachers. Having the kiosks at library computers means that parents who might not otherwise have access to Edline will now be able to use this important tool. Edline logos on the home page of public computers make it easy for parents to get started.
The Edline kiosks are self contained bilingual stands that have information on how to activate an account, how to understand the information available on attendance and grades, and tips for how a parent might use the information with their student. The kiosks are a project of the Parent Information and Resource Center and Education Alliance of Washoe County in conjunction with the Washoe County School District.
