The Road to College Training of Trainer workshop covers the following curriculum:

         Why College:  many parents do not realize that college is an option for their child(ren), so this class provides information to help parents start thinking about and planning for college; varying types of continuing education (i.e.: 4 year college, 2 year college, trade/specialty programs); options for college will be explored including why a college education is beneficial.

         How to Pay for College:  helps parents explore the various types of financial aid available including scholarships, grants, loans, savings programs, and work study; often a guest speaker from a local college or university can be present to answer questions.
