The Basics of Secondary Education Training of Trainer workshop covers the following curriculum:

Getting to Know My Child's School - helps parents become more familiar with the school (including the physical layout of the school and locations of important offices), the school's AYP and what that means, and the staff at the school and their responsibilities.

Graduation Requirements - helps parents learn about the district's graduation requirements; this includes information about the Nevada High School Proficiency Exam, the impact of attendance on graduation, and the required credits and grades needed to graduate.

Monitoring My Child's Progress - helps parents become more familiar with the district's online monitoring tool so that they know how to check their child's grades, assignments, and attendance in order to monitor their child's progress.
